While the exterior of the 2014 Audi A4 remains largely unchanged from 2013, there are a couple of notable differences between the two year models. First, the 2014 model offers a more powerful engine, offering 9 more horsepower under the hood (it still maintains a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine). Bluetooth is now standard as well, as is a built-in iPod/iPhone interface in the vehicle’s dash.

Audi uses real leather throughout the interior of the A4. While it might seem Spartan in comparison to other cars in the same class, that same quality gives it an air of authenticity and polish. Real wood is also present, a marked contrast to competitors that use vinyl to create a faux-wood look (both Mercedes and BMW are guilty of this). Another benefit of using the highest quality materials available is the incredible quietness of the cabin, even under acceleration. While the engine might pin you back to the seat under harsh acceleration, you’ll still enjoy your peace and quiet. Even on the highway, road noise is negligible.
