The Q7 offers three engine choices: a supercharged 280-hp or 333-hp TFSI engine, or the impressive TDI clean diesel that gets up to 28 hwy mpg*. All three excel in motivating the Q7's legendary quattro all-wheel drive system, which sends power to the wheels having the most grip for impressive handling no matter what the road and weather conditions. Audi engineered the Q7 structure with aluminum and steel to produce a strong car while reducing weight. The exterior boasts many luxury features, including a power tailgate, LED taillights, power-adjustable heated exterior side mirrors, aluminum roof rails, running boards, and special packages for warm or cold weather, towing and offroad travel.
Interior
The premium Q7 interior employs sumptuous leather seating surfaces, walnut wood inlays and plush carpet to treat seven occupants to luxurious comfort. The large interior provides 144.1 cubic feet of total space, and up to 72.5 cu. ft. of cargo space with the second and third row seats folded flat. The heated/ventilated front row seats power adjust 12 different ways, and the second row seats recline and slide. Nothing prepares people for the spectacular sound from the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System with 1,000-watt amplification and 14 enclosed speakers, including two acoustic lens tweeters, deployed throughout the cabin. But Q7 offers so much more. Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot provides high-speed connectivity for up to eight passenger devices via an in-cabin wireless hub. SiriusXM Traffic gives drivers traffic information superimposed upon available 3D satellite imagery giving a true aerial view of the route as the MMI navigation system reroutes the vehicle to bypass traffic. Google Voice Local Search accepts and interprets voice commands to display a list of local destinations.
Safety
The Audi Q7 offers many advanced safety and driver assistance features. Audi side assist helps inform drivers about hard-to-see vehicles in the adjacent lanes using radar sensors and two different optical warnings. The corner view camera system features front and rear acoustic parking sensors and cameras that give drivers a panoramic view of the road ahead and behind. For added value, the rear view camera provides driver-selected guidelines for any type of parking, giving drivers a comprehensive view and enabling safer maneuvering. Eight airbags include front-impact, front side and side curtain airbags for both driver and outboard passengers and available rear side airbags.
